Taylor Swift constantly on the rise in the music industry, leading her to land the top spot on Billboard Top 100 Songs in 2023 from January 14 — January 21.

Why Has Taylor Swift Been So Influential Throughout The Years?

Through her narrative skills, she attracts the attention of her audience and establishes an instant connection with her music listeners. It's so common for people to say she has a song for every situation (and I agree). The vulnerability in her lyrics through wearing her heart on her sleeve, display her high likability.

Taylor On Tour

This past week, Taylor started off her biggest world tour in her career. The Arizona show kicked off the Taylor Swift Era's Tour. There has been a lot of debate on Taylor's setlist, from not including some of her most like songs to wasting time with overplayed hits. With no surprise her opening acts showcase young and growing artists from the past year which includes, Gracie Abrams, Phoebe Bridgers, Gayle, Girl In Red, and more. Taylor's most recent tour was for her album Reputation. In 2020, she had scheduled a number of stadium performances and worldwide festival appearances in support of her album Lover, but those events had to be postponed due to the pandemic.

My Take On Her Setlist

As a big Swiftie, I've been hopping for my favorite songs to be played during her performance. I'll take you through my top songs of my favorite albums in all her ERAS!

Starting off strong with my personal favorite album, Folklore...three songs on this album takes us into the teenage love triangle with, Betty, James, and Augustine which secure the spots of the songs, Cardigan, Betty, and August in my Folklore must plays. Continuing my obsession for this heartache, sad girl album, my next few spots will always be reserved for, Mirrorball, My Tears Ricochet, Illicit Affairs, Hoax, and Mad Woman.

Moving on to the less heartbroken version of Folklore, we have the beautiful masterpiece, Evermore. This album has helped me find self-worth and self-love. My top spots for this album go to...Tolerate It, Champagne Problems, Happiness, Dorothea, Marjorie, and Coney Island. BUT, this album contains one of my favorite bonus tracks of all time, Right Where You Left Me.

The second Taylor's Version album we ever got from our queen, Red!!! Just like most of the Swifties, a special place in my heart will always be for, All Too Well (Ten Minute Version.) Out of this 30 song album, my top spots go too, Better Man, I Bet You Think About Me, Sad Beautiful Tragic, The Last time, and Begin Again.

The first Taylor's Version album we got, Fearless!! Even though there are so many hits on this album, I have to be basic and say, Mr. Perfectly Fine, Forever & Always, The Best Day, The Way I Loved You, and Fifteen are my top songs in the Fearless album.

Last but not least, Taylor's most recent album that landed her a top spot on Billboards Top 100 Songs, Midnights. Although this album had fans a little skeptical when it was first released, true Swifties learned to love it. My personal favorites in this album are, Sweet Nothing, Would've, Could've, Should've, Midnight Rain, Bejeweled, and High Infidelity.

Many confirmed set lists for the Eras Tour are speculating social media, such as Instagram and Tik Tok right now. I'm so excited for what's to come in this new ERA for Taylor Swift! For everyone attending one of her concert dates, I hope you have as much as a fabulous time as I will!

See you there <3

Xoxo, Ali
